Don’t Miss Brew at the Zoo on July 18
What’s better than drinking craft brews while simultaneously supporting a great cause? Head to Brew at the Zoo, hosted by the Smithsonian’s National Zoo on July 18th as a fundraiser to support wildlife conservation and research to do just that.
This year, a prehistoric theme will take beer and wildlife enthusiasts back to the days of the dinosaurs with fun décor, games and visitors to really set the stage. During the evening you’ll have the chance to do tastings of specialty brews from over 70 breweries including big names like Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and Goose Island, but also tons of up-and-coming breweries from the area. They’ll also have food trucks available with good eats for purchase throughout the evening.
Tickets are $65 get you in the door at 6:00 p.m. and get you unlimited tastings, a souvenir mug and all the lawn games your heart desires If you grab a VIP ticket for $125 you’ll gain access to food tastings, special entertainment, and one-hour early entry as well. There are also discounted rates for zoo members and sober drivers. Brew at the Zoo is a 21+ event, no children allowed, and it will be rain or shine, so when planning keep these things in mind!
