Meet Critters and Eat Gourmet Cuisine at “ZooFari: Bite Night” on May 16th
If you love animals and gourmet cuisine, you’ll find both at ZooFari: Bite Night. The annual tradition helps to raise funds for the animals that the Smithsonian works so tirelessly to protect, all while some of the city’s best chefs dole out tastings of their signature dishes. ZooFari returns for its next installation on Thursday, May 16th at the Smithsonian National Zoo.
The festivities kick off at 6:30 p.m. Grab a glass of wine or a bottle of craft beer and some grub from Mastro’s Steakhouse, La Tasca, CIRCA, or any of the many other restaurants participating in ZooFair. Have a meet-and-greet with some of the zoo’s cutest residents and explore a few of the animal houses after hours. Check out the live entertainment and participate in fun activities, and participate in a silent auction for a chance to win animal-themed items.
Your ticket ($175+) includes access to the live entertainment and animal experiences, as well as unlimited food, wine, beer, soft drinks, and water.
