This Year’s Capital Fringe Festival Runs From July 7 – 29
The Capital Fringe Festival is off and running with another successful year of celebrating independent, fringe artists from around the world. Running from July 7 through July 29, the festival aims to broaden DC culture with a variety of theater, music, dance, and art exhibitions.
The schedule is jam-packed with all kinds of art forms, from sketch comedy performances and live music sessions, to brilliant plays, dance, and more. You can even meet Fringe staff and artists at weekly happy hours to delve into the fringe experience. A series of theater spaces throughout DC are participating to show these unique art forms, and the festival is a destination for fringe artists to display their work and create a following. Many of the events and exhibits are general admission and just require a $7 Capital Fringe Festival Button for entry. If you are interested in seeing multiple performances, ask about their multiple show passes that you can split up between you and friends any way you like.
