Sip Something Sweet at Anxo Cidery
Anxo Cidery, which just opened five weeks ago in the Brightwood neighborhood, is a trendy cider production facility and tasting room where Spanish tapas pair with artisan beverages. The new space houses three oak casks from the Chianti region of Italy plus two 1,000 gallon fermentation tanks. The modern industrial-style tasting room features a 13-seat bar and outdoor patio with pops of bright red, two large garage doors that can open during nice weather, and a handmade bar top. Enjoy 24 of Anxo’s featured ciders on tap along with eight curated beers. red and white vermouth on draft, and specialty cocktails.
The menu includes a collection of Spanish bar food, such as serrano ham and manchego cheese, hot panini sandwiches, and brunch dishes. Try the Geri Special, made with roast beef, fried egg, cheddar, and grated tomato on toasted brioche. Cider is also available in bottles and cans, so take some to-go after enjoying your meal.
