Valentine’s Weekend Around D.C.

Screen Shot 2017-02-09

Psst. You! Yes, you with the valentine. This is your official reminder: Valentine’s Day is TUESDAY!

Time to get to work, if you haven’t already.

We’ve got some great Valentine’s ideas to help you plan the whole weekend, so it looks like you remembered. And, even better, they are all close to 5333 Connecticut in Chevy Chase, D.C.

Start the weekend on Saturday with some playful ice skating at the National Gallery of Art. From 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. you can skate through the sculpture garden taking in the art, working up an appetite, and holding hands with your valentine.

On Sunday, catch the American Festival Pops Orchestra as they present: Valentine Pops at the Hylton Performing Arts Center. You can let the orchestra serenade your valentine with romantic 20th century melodies and love movie theme songs.

Then, on Tuesday night, you can finish off your weekend adventures with a beautiful dinner at Range in Chevy Chase. They will be featuring a four-course Valentine’s Day menu with optional wine pairings, that is sure to wow.

Afterward, you can make your way back to your 5333 Connecticut home for some rooftop drinks or clubroom lounging.

That’s how you prove that Valentine’s Day never even slipped your mind.
